More foreigners on the road

Just saw this online and remembered about this thread

And most of them do not know how to read English much less comprehend road signs. 65 to 70% of the trucking industry and I can't seem to get a job as a new CDL holder with limited work history...what work history do they have?
Sick of it. It's only gonna get worse

 

Do we blame the foreigners for trying to make a living or do we blame the states that let them get away with whatever they do?

 

If he pays a decent wage he’d definitely get more interest. Instead he has 20 mexicans or Venezuelans living in a single trailer park home working for peanuts while sending money back home.

Why be mad at Mr. Musk? He isn't saying anything inaccurate. That is not some sort of newsflash that he's talking about. The lack of skilled labor is definitely there and has been for a long time. Many members o here say the same thing when advising new drivers. It's been advised on here to get into specialized hauling of some sort, there's probably a driver shortage in that sector of trucking. Most of us would rather bump docks and complain. I actually agree with that post, I just wouldn't have worded it that way.

Also, why be mad at Musk? The guy many of you elected has given him a platform. He's echoing the argument that I holding this thread.....don't be mad at the foreigners. Be mad at billionaires who want to save a buck.

 

I’m not mad at anyone, fact is that he is corrupt, you don’t have to go far to see it. He is talking about downsizing the government, his issue is not size of government or spendings. He’s trying to favor himself and relax the regulations for his lithium refinery, as well as his cheap work force. Man clearly doesn’t give 2 screws less about America. He’s a greedy pos that is desperate and addicted to wealth, Americans might be dumb, however Hispanics aren’t much smarter, he doesn’t want to take care of his own people, but has the audacity to talk smack.

 

The guy that gave him a new and additional platform is the same way. Ever heard that phrase, "Birds of a feather flock together?"
