The instructor at the driving school had everyone in class register right after we got our CDP. Every other student had their license verified and I had trouble. I kept on trying but it kept failing to verify. I thought it was weird to register before I got my actual license but I was told to get registered.

Login and double check all your information..ssn, address etc. Must match perfectly.
When you enter your license number eliminate the dash ( - ) if you have one.

I would even clear all history and cookies from your computer if you’re using one. Just one of those last ditch things I do when something isn’t going right..

You aren’t the only person who has dealt with this situation so just hang in there.

I asked you for the dates earlier because it can take up to a month for the state to communicate and fmcsa to verify your CDL. Time doesn’t seem to be an issue but with the past holidays it’s possible for someone to be running behind.

Given the holidays and I believe that their system was under maintenance or on vacation lately..Some Carriers were having issues trying to update their MCD-150’s

If you registered in mid-December....at that time....you would NOT have a CDL.

The attached file (in the above post) sez...."you may update your record immediately at so-&-so portal..."

You might try using that portal.

If you later get a confirmation status page of your CDL there -- take a pic or two of it with your cellphone. Then back those photos up to somewhere on the internet -- where you can access them from anywhere.

That might satisfy recruiting....until the website issue is fixed.

If Clearinghouse confirmation is successful -- you really should (also) get an email confirmation of such....as proof that you're good.....

    :dontknow:

You entered something incorrectly or the MO DMV did.

Earlier you said that you got your drivers record printed out…check it for any errors..like ssn. May show an error that is screwing everything up

That is the best time to get signed up. CLP holders that go to training companies have to be. Consent is given electronically now so sooner the better.

    @Cherokee65

Any chance that your CLP # is different than your actual CDL number?

    Just grasping at straws..

Ok, I went into my account and everything is entered correctly. I’ve been fighting these jerks since 01/08/25. This is the email I received on the 8th of this month. Monday someone in the MO DMV is going to get chewed on.

Two weeks for MO and another 2 for fmcsa to verify your CDL. Since you got your physical license there really hasn’t been a lot of actual business days. Minus weekends, holidays, short staffing due to Christmas vacations..

IMO, if everything is entered correctly just keep logging into the clearinghouse and try resubmitting your entries.

fwiw I just received an email from fmcsa that their system is back up and running. Carriers can now make changes and updates like updating MCS-150’s. Are the systems tied together? Probably not but keep trying to get it verified online.

In my case -- the Clearinghouse was mandated AFTER I got my CDL.

So I never had an opportunity to encounter the above-described back-n-forth.

Now....you might better understand why I tell others...to be a good truck driver, you need (among other things) the patience of a grandfather clock. o_O

Different issues as a driver....will test your patience -- especially as a first-year driver.

If you have a short temper -- it will indeed be a bumpy ride.
