There is a huge parking lot at that Shell, but no driver services like showers. It’s just a gas station with a lot behind it. As someone else said the Wagon Wheel across the street has good food. There’s another place just a few buildings away that’s good too, with a bar.
I was doing some testing for a company we pulled for that wanted to see if their product stayed at -35°c in the heat of the desert so I did a few 34s there. pretty nice hotel next door too.

 

I get to deal with this crap. How fun. At least when i eventually get there, get loaded, and go it’ll be pretty clear…i hope

I'm going to Compton from Ontario later. Getting down to the TA in Ontario from Palm Springs at 5am wasn't too bad until getting to Ontario.

Took me almost 2 hours to go 55 miles, mostly due to bs on 91. Let’s hope getting out is a lot smoother

 

I might sneak across I-80 this time. It looks like they’re gonna load me pretty heavy. It looks like weather will cooperate for the most part and wind won’t be much of a factor since i’ll have almost 45k in the box
