FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

There was a tornado touchdown in the next county over from the house. Information very broken so far on what and where it’s been confirmed.

But it’s February in Tennessee. So it’s normal

 

I live in Kansas…so yeah (please hold your Wizard of Oz jokes) People that aren’t from around here don’t believe me when i say that when a severe thunderstorm or tornado warning is issued for my town, you can literally see people standing in their yard or street to watch it. I love storm season on the plains, except when it comes with loss of life. When you get the chance, roll through Greensburg, KS. Almost every building is new. It took a direct hit from an EF5 in 2007.

And of course most people know about the Moore, OK tornadoes and EF5 that hit Joplin directly in 2011

 

Not a bad day. 697 miles with 34 minutes drive time remaining. No pick ups or deliveries usually means being able to run 650+ miles.

 

I have pictures of Joplin somewhere. I rolled through there about three weeks after that happened.

 

Update: taking a 34 at the yard instead. Ran to Fremont to get the new license plate for my truck and washed my car.
