Should be used to alert when the turn is approaching. Never the sole decision onto which road to take.
Also logging miles and alerting timers for maintenance. They are pretty good at finding truck stops and estimating miles remaining to destination.

Edited to add the problem with old threads is sometimes when you quote someone they are no longer active. Several years ago honestly I can't remember if it was TTR or another forum. Someone quoted a member who had died almost a decade before.Knucklehead Thanks this.
