    They should still be hiring. Of course once it gets warm, it gets slow again. Plenty of guys hunker down when flakes start falling.

    I’m not sure if we are or not to be honest. I don’t go to Winter Haven too much. The last few times I was there, my sleeping schedule was adjusted to running at night, so I was asleep during the day and only talked to night dispatch when I went to the yard to switch trailers.

    There isn’t as much traffic. Weigh stations are usually closed. There is rarely a wait at the fuel islands. The sun isn’t baring down in your face of an evening. By the time you’re finished in the morning, there are plenty of open parking spots anywhere you stop.
