Had a goal of making it to Butte today, but currently parked in Livingston because of wind gusts up to 70 mph. When you only have 7K in the box I don’t want to make that phone call to safety. Should ease up in about 5 hours.

Haven’t had any trailer issues to complain about for a while until this. Now I’m sitting at a Petro waiting to get in because whoever whacked a tree couldn’t be bothered to get it repaired before they dropped the trailer at Clorox in University Park.

And of course it’s a 12 year old trailer so nothing went easy. 4 hours later there is a functional light mounted on the trailer again. Now that I’m behind schedule I’m extra irritated that someone dropped it like that to let someone else deal with it.

Lived in Kansas most of my life. Been to a bunch of states. Some of them have some #### nice rest areas, especially Iowa. Ours though seem more like glorified #### houses

New Mexico still takes the prize of the worst rest areas i’ve been to. Almost feels like you’re in a third world country when you go inside.

You're right @cdavis188, our Rest Areas were nice in 1974, not so much in the 21st Century. North Carolina always seemed to have nice Rest Areas as well.

Well, spent $40 or so on supplies so I could do some amateur road service but it beats the heck out of going to a truckstop and wasting half a day.
