Well, whoever had a screw loose, I found it.

Bad thing is I was out of hours and PCing out so I couldn’t swing by someplace to get it fixed. So I had to take the other empty and they are going to get a daycab driver to grab it. The wagon I took had a couple holes in the walls but I was able to tape over those.

Once I finish my 34 hours of trucker timeout I’m planned to run to KC and snag a trailer for Goodlettsville on Friday.

Came out of the house on Wednesday and have just shy of 3500 miles for the week. I’m feeling all of them.

In Effingham tonight on my way to Clayton, with 18.5 hours left on my 70, then to Richmond for a Bellevue load. Be interesting to see how far west I make it tomorrow before calling it a day. I basically have to run the speed limit everywhere to make it home before my 70 is up. Voiced my concern about that and was told staying on the Richmond load was my best option. Worst case scenario is a reset in CB, then just drive home for the rest of the weekend and come back out Monday. I’m past the point of resets on the road and not going home.

At least you won’t have to deal with Chicago

In southern Oklahoma and wind is straight out of the west at a pretty decent clip. Blowing me around a little bit but nothing too crazy. The wind is supposed to turn more out of the north the farther up 35 i go so that should lessen the crosswind component

I didn’t know if FCC has some sort of policy against it. If he’s loading back out of CB then it’s a slam dunk. Otherwise I would ask them not to give me my pre plan until I make it home.

98% of the time my load out comes from Aurora. And there’s a 60 mile company limit. I was frustrated yesterday because I haven’t had to go to Richmond for a long time and of course it happens when I’m short on hours.
