YRS is when my finger hits the wrong key. You’ll notice that ‘E’ is very close to ‘R’ -
So it was meant to say ‘Yes’.
As in ‘Yes - I probably won’t try to help you in the future’
I had an epiphany about backing up a tractor-trailer on a city street

Most people are treating this thread like it is a big joke, but this is a serious issue. There are 5,629 lurkers logged in to this message board right now, and thousands of more lurkers have seen this thread since I created it two days ago. There are probably some lurkers here who (like me) it never occurred to them that they should never back up on a city street because there is a blind spot directly behind the trailer. I've seen other truckers back straight up on city streets to let other trucks make turns countless times before. These lurkers probably will now know never to back up a tractor-trailer on a city street again unless they have someone outside the truck spotting for them. If not for this thread, some of the lurkers might have continued to back up a semi-truck with a dry van trailer on city streets. This thread might end up saving you from having another trucker back into your car when you are on hometime. This thread might end up saving one of your family members from having a trucker back a trailer into their car. This thread might save your daughter or your son or your brother or your mother or even you from being crushed to death by trucker backing up a tractor-trailer over a motorcycle rider. The life that this thread saves might be your own.

It is simple common sense to not move if you can't see.. took u 10 years of driving to figure that out. You should be ashamed of that.
now i wonder how many times you have hit other people's equipment and continued to drive off because you have no clue.. people like you are the reason there is warning labels on shampoo saying not to drink it. -
My truck needs a new bumper, and I want to repaint the hood, so if you tell me your trucking company, truck #, and schedule for the coming week, I will run your back door for awhile….

Before Thursday, it did not occur to me that I couldn't see a car behind the trailer while I was sitting in the truck.
Thank you for insulting me.
