Now that BP owns Petro/T-A I think most will be converted to 100% paid parking. They were in the process of changing over the T-A in Cartersville GA the last time I was in that area.

 

Cartersville is all paid now. McCalla Al was in the process of installing ticket machines last time I was there.

 

Was at the ta/petro in west Memphis last week getting repairs and the ticket machines and gate are already in. They were just about done.

 

Can’t put my finger on what’s wrong here. Maybe the lights? Lol

 

Ya know. At first i used to hate paid parking. But then i see pictures like that or watch people.dump out hundreds of pounds of garbage or even entire truckloads of product and i just shrug anymore.

A LOT of drivers are worse then animals nowadays and its hard to want to blame the truckstops for passing the cost on.

 

You know what pisses me off? I understand the market economy, I understand companies need to make a profit. I support it. The ####ed part is the Government mandates we have to shut down after so many hours and we get nothing to support us. No expanded parking, no protection from predatory truck stops. Nothing. Not a ####ing thing. If a politician from any party, from any state said hey, let's make some parking for trucks, I would support them. Even AOC. She has righteous tits.

 

If it helps keep things clean and most important guarantees parking I think I can live with it. If it’s a reasonable price.

 

I get reimbursed for paid parking. However I do spend money where I stop.
