I keep a small rug near the bunk, and no shoes or boots go past the seat belt bucklesFullMetalJacket, Savor the Flavor, wulfman75 and 5 others Thank this.

I keep those clean too. Wife is buying new sheets and pillow cases when I go get her. She’s even buying new blankets and a comforter too! Man, a good clean truck feels good!!FullMetalJacket, austinmike and navypoppop Thank this.

I’m with you on that!! Shoes stay up front. I wear house shoes in the back. Neither pairs of shoes cross that seatbelt line.FullMetalJacket, Friend, navypoppop and 2 others Thank this.

LOL!! Somehow I don’t think that’s her plan… which is fine with me! I think she’s buying sheets, blankets & pillows for up top too. I don’t take up much room so the biggest area is all hers! I’m a bit of a minimalist. I don’t have much because I don’t need much. My big thing is cuddling and same with her. I just miss her so much!! I’m old and on lots of medicine so the rest is for the younger people.
They say trucking is a lifestyle, which is true. My lifestyle has been right along with those for years, so I’m right at home in this truck. This is like getting paid to see the country, but with some added responsibilities. I absolutely love it.
I have these little trimmers I use to cut off my beard and I got that done outside my side compartment door today. It helps that right inside there is a 2 outlet power inverter to plug my trimmers into. And that keeps the beard mess outside! I’m at Scotty’s Restaurant and Travel Plaza on the very back of the lot for today and tomorrow. Just 1 other truck back here.Attached Files:

What I typically eat for supper, I know I know… dinner. Southern countryboys all say supper, Haha! Baked potato, (for the potassium), with butter, bacon and cheese. Applesauce with cinnamon too.
Slap ya Mama seasoning goes on everything and so does fresh ground black pepper.

I love the Wilton sign! It sure brings back some great memories when I was on the road in NY state. I haven't been there since about 2011 when I retired from driving after 42 years and about 3 million estimated miles. Great memories and a great career. I wish you a glorious, safe and prosperous career ahead. Oh and enjoy having your wife with you. I didn't have the pleasure but now we spend our time full time rving after our 45 years together.FullMetalJacket, austinmike, Albertaflatbed and 1 other person Thank this.

I appreciate your well wishes very much!
Well, I’ll tell you what friend… Tomorrow I’ll get pics of the front of the building for you and post them up here. If I don’t get drenched! Calling for rain tomorrow here.
My time with my wife is very precious to me and I honestly cherish every second of it. I’ve been told to attend to my affairs several times by doctors who ended up passing before me. I’m at peace with my Maker and I’m saved. My wife is truly the love of my life. I’m so blessed, excited and grateful to have her with me soon. Maybe sometime soon you and your wife can come up here and visit. It’s beautiful up here!FullMetalJacket, Lonesome and Gearjammin' Penguin Thank this. -
