Finally back out of the house. Got my load sent to me last Friday. Pickup today, Chatsworth to Shelby IA. Load isn’t due until Thursday. I’ll be somewhere with it tomorrow. Whether it be Shelby or CB.
My truck is due for an overhead. So maybe they’ll do it Wednesday, they may wait until my next grease, as the truck just hit 100k today

Coming out of the house from vacation time and got the news that Brendan my DM is leaving.
I've been with FCC for 5 years and counting... the last two has been with Brendan.
In my personal experience working with this young man has been outstanding.
Brendan kept me moving and was always very helpful.
I'm sure going to miss him!FullMetalJacket, Friend, hotrod1653 and 6 others Thank this. -
I had him when I first started here then they did the old switcharoo toward the end of last year. I always got along great with him. Hope things go great for him wherever he’s going.

I have old man Tim as my dispatcher. He was my dispatcher when i was originally OTR, to SWR, and then back to OTR…until they did the ol switcheroo out of the blue like Long FLD said and put me with Nick, who i didn’t particularly care for. I’m back on Tim’s board now.
Some people complain about Tim but we’ve gotten along pretty well and we both know how the other operatesSilverdriver Thanks this. -
Dropped my trailer yesterday (early) at Shelby as I was told I could. The afternoon guard lady needs to fully retire. She was less than pleasant.
Got to Fremont yesterday afternoon, loaded flatbed gear, borrowed a car and went to Taco Bell. Got my overhead completed this morning.
First task at hand was to take an empty van to Kawasaki, and bobtail over to where we pickup granite tops in Lincoln for a move to their Edmond OK store. Parked at the customer, and probably going to get stone tomorrow In cottonwood falls KS to bring back to Lincoln or Fremont.runningman0661 and motocross25 Thank this. -
The only thing i don’t like about the new Carrier Aspen APU’s is that the air keeps blowing after the compressor and condenser fan shut off. So yes, while it may be cool in the sleeper, that’s nullified when it starts pumping extremely humid air into the cabin. Like this morning. Stopped at a rest area south of Corsicana, TX and while it may be only 56 outside, the humidity is 100%. As you can imagine it made for a very uncomfortable experience in the sleeper, so now i’m idling the truck to have cool, dry air.
hope not dumb twucker, Knucklehead and Silverdriver Thank this.
