FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

On my first truck I had the old Carrier APU (No Aspen) and at 80-85 degrees the cooling system was always struggling.
It's the new one better when temperature during the summer are very high?

 

it’s better but not by a whole lot. Still throws in the towel if it’s 90’s or above. My idle time usually skyrockets in the summer because i can’t sleep if it’s warm and stuffy in the truck

Usually if time allows, i idle the truck until the sun goes down and then fire up the APU and go to sleep

 

I have a few questions about the quarterly bonus. First when is it paid out? Second will I see an email for it similar to our settlement email. I was hopeful some of you company vets could help me out with information. Thanks in advance.

 

For this quarter it’ll be the end of the month, 29th most likely. It’s usually paid out the last Tuesday of the month in January, April, July, and October, at least it is for me.

You’ll get a separate settlement email, usually on the Friday beforehand

Unloaded my granite this morning in Edmond. The powers to be granted me a load of plate steel from Catoosa going to valley. Much better than stone.

Already preplanned on a fence load going to Riverside for Tuesday that I’ll pick up tomorrow.

 

Ya, I will certainly miss Brendan as well. I really enjoyed having him as my DM. Second best DM I have ever had and second only to another DM here at FCC. He has a bright future ahead of him no matter where he goes.

now, time to break in the next DM… lol

Probably a new trailer. I’ve seen Walmart reefers in CB before.
