I'm serious. There's a school near me that offers just 6 days of training. I have to imagine there's a decent amount of online training and the 6 days are actually spent in the truck. I can't verify this.
Who would hire me? To be honest, I wouldn't hire someone like this unless it's a company that provides training. But in that case, why waste money at a CDL school.
You show up at an interview and you tell the person interviewing you "I went to CDL school for 6 days and got my CDL. That's all my experience". They are going to laugh right?

The short answer: no one worth signing up with -- especially as a "starter" carrier.
Instead of questions like the above -- you should be asking something like, "How do I find the best CDL schools in my area?"
-- OR --
"What CDL schools in my area will graduate me without an AUTO RESTRICTION on my CDL (if any)?"
You really want the best instructional quality you can get -- in order to attract the attention of the better carriers.

Don't go to ANY CDL school until you know what company will hire you the day after completion. CDL school is not something you finish AND THEN start looking for a job. Newbies are waiting a while for any jobs.

Call the recruiter at a major trucking company near you and ask about their requirements. You will probably find that they only recognize programs with a certain minimum number of hours. That was the case when I started. I don't remember what Swift required, but six days would not have been enough.

If I’m being really honest, 6 days is enough time for the average person to learn enough to pass the state CDL exam. Of course everyone is different, but especially if it’s just 1 or 2 students and an instructor with a truck for a week, heck yeah you can pass the test is 6 days. Does that translate to being a good safe driver, no not at all. Lots of people have different reasons for wanting a CDL. So in today’s world, I think it’s a fair option. Not the best choice for most drivers who would want to have a serious career. But yeah you could squeeze thru in 6 days.
