    No.
Gotta give ten percent to get money you don't have yet.

How much do those payday loan places charge?

No idea. I havent lived paycheck to paycheck since my army days over 50 years ago. The first month my wife and I lived together away from home was in San Antonio - I was in medic training at Ft Sam. We finished the month with less than 2 bucks between us, but we never took that "borrow from tomorrow to make it today" route. We found a way without having to sell our souls...

After the first couple of months when we figured out how this "living" thing worked it got easier. Need to learn the pitfalls: Pay off your credit cards every month, if you dont you start down a path you cant get out of... Buy smart. Bought a new car about 6 months after we got married, I was still an E-2 when we got it. Drove it 11 years. Next car had for 11 years. Next car had for 17 years. Got 11 on the current one and still going strong. Dont work for someone that doesnt pay you enough to live on...

I believe it's a software glitch. I got an email from my credit union saying this weekend was some overhaul, and disruptions could occur. Hey, tip of the iceberg, folks, get used to it, as technical glitches will be commonplace and don't be surprised if you go to an ATM and comes back, "funds not available". Don't think so? We depend too much on this electronic phoofery, and for crooks, it's like taking candy from a baby.

I drive past the Detroit terminal daily. So many trucks and trailers sitting you couldn’t see the parking lot lines. How the heck can you make money with that many assets not moving?

Where in the high plains do you live? I was out there a couple of months ago to pick up bird seed at 3 different co-ops in 3 different towns. I enjoyed it out there. I had to take a couple of dirt roads.

There's a lesson to be learned here, folks.
Banks and computers are subject to go down at any time and heaven help if the chicoms or ruskies decided to explode an EMP over this country.
Do your best to keep some CASH on hand. We keep about $1500 on hand underneath the kitchen sink......small bills. That way if the #### hits the fan, we'll have enough to get by for a while.
And stop living paycheck to paycheck. That's a silly and stressful way to live.

the way i see it is that a computer glitch happened.

    however, should it happen again..??

make sure you have a credit card in your wallet, and a way to the nearest airport.

when an employer i once worked for, called me in mid-route, that i was taken off my route, in favor of another driver.??

i told dispatch.........."fine, i'll park the truck and find a way home, and YOU can find your dang equipment"

wanna see how fast i was NOT removed from my route..???

i took no BS from ANY employer, parking that rig was so easy to do.

jobs are still out there, think about yourself, before you think about the employer.
