Not me paying it. Want to get another laugh? Guess what I was towed in for? I had sent the night at the service plaza just east of exit 121. When I woke up that morning, turn signals and flashers wouldn't flash. I caled JB Hunt and told them I needed a new flasher, and to call ahead to one of the truckstops to the east with a PO so they'd have one waiting for me. They do this all the time. Not that day. Nope. The dummy on the phone said "this is a safety issue, you can't drive the truck with no turn signals." I argued that I can still flip the lever and make the bulbs flash, but no, he called the tow truck. The tow truck showed up, pulled truck and trailer, which involved removing the axle from the back set of drives, and towing me to the Freightliner dealer. Then a night in a motel....all for a $12 flasher that plugs into the fuse box.

And they say us drivers are stupid.

I watched one of our drivers chase his unoccupied truck across the parking lot the other day. Good thing he caught it.

I think it is pretty stupid for a new driver, or a want2be, to answer questions on this forum !!!!
    Not all questions, but......

Questions that they have no business answering !!!!!

That is why there is sooooo much incorrect info on here.....................

I follow qc directions I can;t see the dang thing drive around again still no terminal I know I'm on the right street, but no terminal finally I get on the CBand start calling for somebody anybody. I hear this laugh and the guy says you in the white truck who is lost and I go yes he says look to your left! there is a whole lot full of white trucks and six or eight drivers laughing at me when I pull in one of the older guys says let me buy you a coke you made my day passed us six times and still didn't see us. now if I'm lost and I think I'm close I stop look really good and call for directions qc directions left one turn off.

I spent a short time hauling used cars from Dallas to LA, and back to Dallas. I was hauling some used Jags, and forgot to set the set pin and had a Jag sit on the hood of another Jag. Ouch, that is costly. Not fun to call the boss and tell him either, he chewed my butt, but didn't fire me. LOL:biggrin_25526:

I don't believe this guy was a rookie but he should be. I was driving in my car through downtown Detroit. I saw this Old Dominion driver pulling doubles, his back pup trailer was on a lean so bad that he had about 2 inches before it would catch the tandems. I have a CB in my pickup so I hollered out to him, he didn't even notice til I said something.
I don't know if an airbag went out or the load shifted but how could you not see that in your mirrors?

Had a rookie a couple summers ago..I was pulling for a local pool supply company here in Albany,ny, I87 and I90 connect, then breaks off to head over into MASS, bridge over the Hudson river ( if youyve been in the area you know the Bridge) andways...early in the morning about 430-500 am headed east bound drivers from several companies are stopped or slowing down, to my amazement and im sure to other drivers as well we see this Driver doing a U-turn on the Bridge we could not believe our eyes a couple drivers including myself got out of our rigs to see what this individual was doing ( it was obvious what he was doing) we just could not believe what we were seeing.....everyone was laughting....he was so lucky it was not rush hour yet, and also that their was not a trooper out on that streatch of Interstate at that early hour if not I think he would have had the FINE BOOK thrown at him.....his answer was he missed the exit for Albany......had he gotton on the CB he would have realized that had he went another five miles or so he would have made the exit to the freebee part of the I -90 interstate and would have followed that to the same point of the exit he had just missed.......lucky for him he did not get stuck on that bridge.....but I would have to say thats about the stupidest thing Ive seen in awhile...come on a U-turn on a bridge.....

yesterday saw a us xpress run schneider off the road, took about 10 feet off the side of schneiders trailer, revealing a full load of mountain dew in cans....schneider was in a ditch, and hit a tree with the tractor.
