Q. - Do lawnmower blades have to be balanced?
An unbalanced blade spinning that fast will cause a significant amount of vibration, which will put stress on your blade shaft, spindle, and even the engine. So if you want to get the most life out of your mower... keep the blades balanced!

I used to do mine by hanging on a screwdriver till level. Got one of these things and saw a difference. Cheap try and will still help the bearings anyway.
