Gotta love that bs that companies pull. But if it benefits you, for sure they’ll look to get out of it. Is there a cutoff time for paperwork to get scanned in?

D.Tibbitt and Chi Town Steers Thank this.

I’m not sure if there’s a cutoff or not. I was trying not to rub my new boss the wrong way, even tho I was pissed. He blamed me for not telling him I didn’t have 45 hours. But he’s one of those guys who likes to be “the boss”. He’s ok but I just picture him as a faceless soul less entity. I take half the responsibility because I was told but it was my first week and I just didn’t know I needed to check that closely. I didn’t even realize I worked 44 hours until I got the paycheck.

I get that. Still ask doesn’t hurt. Guess it depends on how you ask.

Yeah you’re right. I asked him and basically in a nutshell what he said was he didn’t feel like helping. So I told him I’d be happy to call HR with my lawyer and all of sudden he thought he might be able to help.

trucking is a great way to stack some cash if u have no rent to pay or mouths to feed. Been doing it myself ever since the day I got my license.not to many other gigs out there in the world where u can do that.

Problem with the cruise ship is you're screwed if you find yourself suddenly unemployed. At least with trucking there are easy ways to get home and still be in your home country.
