Bought a pete 378 and wanted to check the status of the rears. Also want to find the gear ratio so I can also change the seal. I can't find a placard on it anywhere. How do I find the gearing?

Check VIN with Pete, find out what it came out with originally , unless it's been changed.

The back rear end it’s stamped in the end of the pinion it just takes some cleaning to do.
To get a seal all you gotta know is 402, 404. DS40 etcOxbow, BoxCarKidd, Rideandrepair and 6 others Thank this.
