Yabba dabba doo! Safe to say that you’ve taken a few on the chin! Thanks for the trip down memory lane and for sharing your lumps and bruises. Never heard of any of those programs you mentioned.

Yeah I made a little more than minimum wage but when you factor in no overtime then it’s just barely over minimum wage. I don’t think tariffs had anything to do with that because my wage was set before tariffs were ever announced.

Yeah I'm going SNI tankers I just called them trying to double check that I'm eligible for rehire because I'm wanting to go to Texas. There's no tanker jobs in Vegas for Schneider. I have to put in an application according to the recruiter I talked with. She couldn't verify my eligibility had to be someone from the rehire team, and couldn't get transferred thru. Back to Chicago is an option also but I'd rather not. Right now I'm thinking Houston or Waco. Both zip codes seem to have permanent tanker positions open

Now I need to figure out the best way to get a Texas driver's license, with no friends or family that I can use their address.

    You could try.
Tell them you liked SNI. Your willing to stay out for a month at a time. Can you stay in Vegas then? Do you want to stay in Vegas?

Houston would work. There is so much chemical work there. So much. If we get into a war that goes nuke, its going to get hit like 20 times.

I have talked to SNI guys that have pulled tanks for 5 years with SNI.

There is a tanker forum on here too.

Have you tried a ups store? Buddy of mine did that but it was a couple years ago. Counts as an actual address unlike a PO box.

I heard that used to work but doesn’t now? I’ll have to do some research. I saw something that said they’d accept a hotel receipt for 30 days or more as proof of residency.

    wulfman75 Thanks this.
