Better than SPD. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve had to dry off with my t-shirt because I forgot they don’t have towels.

Ya know one would think you'd learn to carry a towel in the truck lol.

They're just trying to ensure that their drivers are properly exfoliated.

Someone needs to learn or relearn the two primary lessons of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

    1. DON'T PANIC!!!
    2. Always have a towel.

They're made out of some kind of white cloth, but some terminal's towels have the texture of tree bark.

One of my favorite movie/books. Without being insulting, #2 is how I describe many of the drivers that are in Cali.

I swear, the Walmart DC in Henderson, NC has more issues than the average DC. It took me almost 45 min to get checked in at the gate. Then an hour and a half waiting for a door(along with more than a dozen other drivers). Then it seemed like they called everyone at once because there was this sudden mad rush of drivers trying to get in each others way. Once I bumped the dock, they didn't waste any time getting the load unloaded. When I picked the load up in McDonough, I knew the trailer was gonna need a washout. The closest Beacon was Kenley, and it only added 25 or so miles to my next load. I picked up in Raeford, NC going to Ohio...and I swear, I am gonna blow this transmission to hell. Every time I try to back this thing in soft soil (like at home, or this customer's drop lot), it is an absolute Battle Royale. It's almost like it creates too much resistance and it makes the computer get a digital brain fart to the point where it doesn't know whether it should stop or go. I detest these freekin Freightliner auto-box transmissions...they are the absolute worst transmissions in the business. Then, when I went to pick up my loaded trailer, the last driver had the thing jacked up so high, I probably could have layed down between the 5th wheel and the King Pin with room to spare.

The other day going thru my 2nd rush hour trip around Atlanta (in the same day), I had a message pop up. Since my Peoplenet still won't play messages, and I didn't come to a complete stop long enough to see it, I waited until I stopped to scale the load to read it (which was at the Petro in Carnesville). Turns out, safety wanted me to stop in Marietta and call them, which usually means I have won the random piss test lottery (the only lottery I seem to be able to win). I messaged that I was now 90 miles in the wrong direction before reading the message. Op's said no worries. So I took that as a 'continue to your destination'. On the way up to Henderson, I was planned on this load out of Raeford going to Lockborne OH (Columbus). Planning said that I can head to Columbus after I get empty and deal with safety's request on Friday. So, now I am planned on another crap run after I finish running for safety. Pick up east of Coshocton Friday going to Lebanon for a Saturday morning live unload. Now that hometime is over, and this piss test will be done, I hope things go back to what they were before Easter...so far, I am less than impressed with this replacement dispatcher. I may have to start showing my arse a little and light a fire under her butt...or else start getting so irritable that she requests to have me moved off her board.

@supersnackbar to give you an idea how good he is the truck I’ve got I picked it up November 6. I started driving it out of KC on the seventh with 1244 miles on it. I’ve got just under 69,000mi something like that miles on it now and that’s with approximately 18 days time off in this timeframe not counting the time off. I’m on right now

Friend, Bumper and supersnackbar Thank this.
