I watched another Mack Anthem video. It says they have extended the service intervals to 90k miles. What truck owner in their right mind that has the intention of keeping this truck beyond the warranty would go 90k miles between oil changes. That's just insanity at it purest.

Yep, must be fairly new, my Nag-a-gator can't find the address.

You know darn well that 90% of new trucks aren't going to be operated by their original buyers past the warranty period. But I agree with you, 90k as a service interval is ridiculous.

Seen a lot of variations on the theme in the automotive space where they have pushed out or eliminated fluid drains until they start getting eaten alive on warranty claims then they have to develop a process for fluid changes on a sealed for life component.Friend, hotrod1653, Woobie and 3 others Thank this.

For those on fuel solutions. When you get told to only put 33 gallons in do you put the 33 gallons in just the left tank if itll fit or in both?
Friend Thanks this. -
We get them at magnum now tooFriend Thanks this.

The tanks will equalize if that's what ur wondering.. Every truck Ive ever driven only had 1 sending unit inthe drivers tank so if u only fill that one all the way the fuel gauge will read full until they equal outFriend, hope not dumb twucker, gentleroger and 1 other person Thank this.

We normally don't get an amount under 60 gal because that's what the Petro-T/A threshold is for a shower. I try to manually equalize because this truck is slow to self equalize. We have to be within a certain percentage of the amount they require.Friend, hope not dumb twucker, O.Henry and 1 other person Thank this.

Got my next preplan already. After I get empty in Westville I head to Elk Grove Village to live load a load going to Edgerton KS for Thursday morning. I have already put a bug in dispatch's ear saying that if a Hostess load to the west coast becomes available, I can postpone my hometime to run it since they might have a good number of drivers going home for the 4th.
I have been seeing some interesting company names lately. That load of Bic Mac sauce I pulled out of PA the other day was from a cold storage named Catch-Up Logistics. The place I am delivering to on Thursday is called Beyond Warehousing.Friend, hope not dumb twucker, Lonesome and 1 other person Thank this.
