I'm not sure if lawsuits have been filed or not. I choose to believe it only when I see the lawsuit filings. These filings are generally considered public information and fully available. If, by chance, there are names or information, such as a phone number, in the paperwork, they will redact that. I would love to see what case Byron would file. He was filmed in a public setting. He does not own the copyright to his image or those videos. Chris Martin's comment in some aspects could be considered slander; however, if Byron was having an affair with Cabot, Truth is an absolute defense in a libel or slander action.

In the past 24 hours, I have heard that Byron has filed against Coldplay and the girl who posted the video online. I have heard Cabot has filed an improper actions lawsuit against both Byron and the company. I have heard that both of their spouses have filed for divorce. As of right now, 10 minutes after 3 in the AM on 29 July, I am yet to see any filings of any kind. Just pause a moment and think about that. Even divorce filings in some situations are considered public. Yet not a single filing PDF is online! You can even get a veteran's DD214 summary, as that is considered public. NO, not the actual DD214, just the fact you served and some other general stuff.

So until I see filings, I am going to agree with @gentleroger on this.

Each of us come to certain points in our life when we have to “man up“ it’s not always easy. For this guy, this is one of those moments. Yeah he got way more attention for having an affair than the average man would get, but he’s the CEO of a huge company, and when you live in that world, this is the risk you take when you play outside the rules. He’s not the first man or the last man and she’s not the first woman or the last woman to ever have an extra marital affair…In fact, it happens more than it doesn’t. But if you’re gonna play that game and you get caught, it’s one of those opportunities when you really need to look in the mirror and evaluate yourself and stop blaming others. He’s acting like a woman. Lol women when they get caught in an affair, almost always blame anything and everything but themselves. The man needs to lay low for a while and rebuild himself. First of all, a lawsuit isn’t gonna work and all he’s gonna do is draw more unwanted attention to himself and make his life a bigger mess.

 

I completely agree, but there's a crucial point missing. The company has a market cap of just over a billion dollars and recently secured another $90 million in investment. Right now, getting accurate information is challenging. From what I've been hearing, several of Astronomer's customers are growing nervous. Reports are surfacing from current and former employees claiming the company atmosphere was toxic under his leadership. I’ve also heard they were either preparing for an IPO this fall or were on the verge of being acquired. This isn’t some "Ralph Kramden" situation involving an affair. Andy Byron was the CEO of a billion-dollar company caught with his HR chief, and this is going to echo through boardrooms and courtrooms for years to come. It reminds me of something a very wise person told me decades ago: "Mike, NEVER assume intelligence." He wasn’t just referring to academic knowledge but also to common sense. How someone could be this reckless is truly mind-boggling.

 

For many, with money and power comes arrogance. This was an arrogant moment. He just proved, no matter how wealthy, no one is above the other.
