I’m seeing more bad reviews of gpt no paying vendors and drivers who got loads brokered by them. So it’s obvious that bills aren’t being payed. I’m surprised there hasn’t been news of bankruptcy filings… unless Mike still has his head so far up his own rear end he thinks he’s still Mr. Successful.

 

Clark left from safety & they are down to 45 drivers or less and they have to be moved out of the building in Mapleton by 08/01

 

It's always the kids, you'd think these owners would catch on and maybe hire legit management before they retired. Their safer still shows 200 trucks and drivers but they haven't reported in a long while.

 

From what I heard Mike bought the whole thing and pretty much shut his dad out… also rumors that he was really viscous towards him. I think Bob must’ve just got sick of bailing him out especially after he bought a flatbed conpany and bankrupted it.

the sad part is gpt was my 2nd employer in a row where the next generation took over and destroyed the place.

 

I've always wondered why drivers are staying in situations like this, when it's obvious the company is on its last legs?

How do they still have 45 drivers? Why wouldn't you abandon ship, OTR is the LAST job I would ever want to ride it out until the end. Way too much potential to get screwed halfway across the country with a load in your trailer (reefer no less) and your fuel card shut off, with nowhere to even turn in the truck and trailer.

Why in the world haven't the final 45 drivers abandoned ship if what's being reported is accurate?

There’s still a few that are blindly loyal to Mike, last I’ve heard there’s a review on google maps they might be down to 15.

my last straw was getting put into a rental truck, the lousy communication and increasing micromanagement. And the kid’s worsening toxicity.

 

I notice on safer the address has changed to a new address in Fargo

 

It has a PO Box for their address. So I'm assuming they don't have a physical address anymore? Has anybody on this forum driven by their old terminal on Mapleton to see if it's gated off and the lot emptied?
