FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Finally escaped the dealership, ran over to Four Oaks and picked up a trailer with a hole that’s been there a while. In the dropping driver’s defense it was hard to spot and was a small hole.

The trailer next to mine, well, pretty sure Helen Keller would have caught on a post trip (not an FCC trailer).

Taking a broker load from Henderson, NC to Fishers, Indiana. I’ll pop in the house Sunday, deliver Monday, head back home then see when I feel like dealing with the truck again.

 

Mom and I have been digging on music from that era since it was current, and I was a little boy. I sent that to her, and she’s still trying to figure it out. lol.

 

More of I-70 in MO is about to be torn up. The project between Columbia and Kingdom City has been in full swing for awhile. They just started on the section between Warrenton and Wentzville, and i believe they'll be starting on the section just east of KCMO to Odessa in the next month or two

It'll be great when they finally finish it. I drove it the other day and it needs it badly. Granted they should've done it sooner but at least they're doing it, unlike some states

 

3 of my most hated routes:

I-26 in SC
I-81 in general
the 2 lane section of I-45 between Dallas and Houston

I guess I'll throw I-24 out there as a dishonorable mention, at least the TN portion

 

I35 in central and north Texas is horrible too

 

All of I-70 is gonna be a mess for awhile. They are making it 3 lane each direction from Grain Valley to Wentzville.

 

I cant stand 75/69 between sherman and big cabin.

 

Don't forget the KY portion, between the state line and Oak Grove.

 

I run US36 a LOT to avoid that stretch of highway
