System Transport, Arlo Lott, Gary Amoth…. Will keep you in the Northwest and western 11.

TP, JDT, and Ram are some others.

Add white mountain trucking to the list of western 11 Flatbed . Lots of LA tho, so if ur scared of that then dont apply. it gets old after awhile like anything else but they leave me alone and keep me running and the check clears every friday

Thanks so much, I'll give these guys a call. They offer transition training from flatbed?

LA is fine. I can fit a semi around the streets of LA a #### ton easier than Chicago or northeastern cities.

I'm cool with a routine, I just want to do something more physical and base myself out of a less populated area of the country.

Thank you for the recommendation though, I'll call them

Even on their regional divisions? I don't like the idea of working under a company with a stock ticker so it wouldn't surprise me if they don't keep completely honest.

I did dedicated accounts out of Wichita going to WA, Wichita to LA, Wichita to all states. When I was new I did I-5 corridor to CA. I was lucky and privileged to be on those accounts and in special fleets. You don't just get on a dedicated fleet through a recruiter. It takes time.

My buddy did elevators out of DFW and that evaporated. Other people I knew did Boeing multistops all over the country. I honestly don't believe most of those runs exist anymore. I'm trying to be nice about SPD because they put up with a lot of my BS and even rehired me once when I quit for a few months, even though I was a bit of a nuisance. If you like TFI maybe you will like the direction all the TFI companies are going. I have a buddy from COTC and another from EWW and all 3 of us quit our TFI companies after the complete takeover. SPD operations heads were more than fair. The TFI people I can't say what's up.

Eventually a 3rd buddy left SPD and went to ATS and I followed him there. I'm mostly happy at ATS. But we do all those cities you don't like.

So my advice is to call the recruiter and ask what you want to know. She will be honest. She will tell you it's an OTR company is what I suspect. Meaning you will be expected to go where they need.
