Red. I had the displeasure of driving it for 4 months. Really soured my opinion on new trucks. I had so many issues with it in the first 10k miles I had it that it was frankly ridiculous. That seemed to right itself thankfully. I gave it back at like 78k or something when my other truck finally made it out of the body shop but that was at the start of the year. The APU never worked correctly for the duration I had the truck. It would constantly start up, run, and shutdown for no apparent reason. I was working on one of my cars one day and i think the thing started up like 6 times in the span of an hour and a half.
But like I said, that was 7 months ago so maybe it’s all fixed by now

So, got home Saturday and then delivered early in the morning Monday and made it back home and got parked…. only to find a nail in a trailer tire and a bit of daylight peeking through the passenger sidewall.
So had to saddle up again and run over to Brazil to get the tire patched. While I was waiting to get in I tackled the hole in the wall. It had been hurt and repaired low before and all the rivets on that rib were straining at their holes. It was too high up to patch from the ground but a country boy can survive.
Finally got in and the tech decided they needed to sell some brakes. So the trailer was there for about 11 hours. They let me drop it and bobtail home after a couple hours then I had to pick it up just before 10 PM. My day started around 3:30 so I was tuckered (I did take a nap in the afternoon which I almost never do). I went back in Tuesday morning to sweep the trailer. The plan is to head out on Saturday. The trailer is 3 months overdue for service and has a couple redneck repaired holes but does have a fresh DOT inspection so I don’t know how much urgency they will attach to getting it home.Knucklehead and cdavis188 Thank this. -
Delivering my load of metal scrap this morning at 1100. I'd really love one of those Duncanville to Shell Rock loads after this

So ya, it is a nice little mini vaca when it happens but I’ll soon be back running the old SE Regional and NE accounts again.
it’s been nice but it will soon come to and end… which is ok as miles are miles and I hit my goals, most of the time.Knucklehead Thanks this. -

I was always going out west when I was OTR. Been to Victorville and Ontario so many times I'm pretty sure I could get there blindfolded

Been here 2 years, been to Victorville a bunch of times and got to Ontario several times. Been to Foothill Ranch once if that's the Kawasaki HQ place with all the race teams. I've been out west much less in the last 6-8 months. Mostly run NE and SE.
Knucklehead and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this. -
