Count your blessings for the rain. My county is 7 inches low on rain so far this year. Keeps splitting around us or jumping over us.

 

I took a girl friend out for a ride last summer on mine and we had no trouble keeping pace with everyone else. Thing hardly burned any more fuel than normal too, which was surprising.

Fuel economy on that bike is terrible. My buddy has a fuel injected Sportster 1200 and we've gone on a couple day trips. Nearly triple the displacement, heavier bike and he consistently sits at about 32-35 mpg while I'm at around 35-38 mpg.
