It still amazes me how drivers totally ignore signage at customer's check in locations. Fred Meyer/Kroger here in Clackamas has signs everywhere at the gate, Hi viz vest and closed toe shoes must be worn before you will be checked in. The guy in front of me, had neither. They told him that he had to put on both before he would be signed in. He went and got his vest out of the truck, and came back (still wearing his Ugs). Then, when they told him that he still had to change to closed toed shoes, he got grumpy. He went back in his truck to find a pair of tennis shoes... meanwhile, I am standing there waiting because they started his check in before verifying he had on his proper attire. When I checked in, I joked that I was ready because I was a grownup and knew how to dress like I was at a job.

Back before Moore was fully integrated into Wylie, a couple of us Moore drivers were at a receiver when a Wylie driver walked up wearing a hard hat, a wife-beater t-shirt, baggie brumuda shorts and flip-flops, and got pissy when the receiver told him to go back out to his truck and put on proper clothes because there was no way someone was coming into a glass facility dressed like he was at the beach. Then the driver had the nerve to complain to us like he want our support to complain to management. We laughed at him and told him to go back to Swift or CRE where he belonged. Hauling glass is serious trucking where a minor slip up could kill you if you weren't wearing proper safety gear.(Hell, it could kill you if you were wearing proper safety gear)tarmadilo, Speed_Drums, Friend and 14 others Thank this.

I just use an empty brown paper bag. Usually lasts a week or two. But that looks nicer. But more expensive. And I’m a company driver.Friend and iraqralph43 Thank this.

Wal-Mart has two styles, that one and one that’s a little thinner. The other style doesn’t hold up at all. I have been using those for nearly two years. They will go bad eventually ( the adhesive eventually gives up) but they are great for preventing a distraction.Friend, Knucklehead, iraqralph43 and 3 others Thank this.

Sound like you need to adjust the feet on the bottom...or wedge something under them so it sits more level. I haven't had any issues with mine on rough roads, not even in IN or MI. We had this same type at Magnum, and the biggest issue they had was the front latch handle breaking and then you had to open it with a butter knife.Friend, iraqralph43 and hope not dumb twucker Thank this.
