Southwest region, dry van. I live in Salina, KS. Fremont seems like a good company from what I've read. Do you know if the shop will install my CB and antennas?

    Friend Thanks this.

The company trucks come with a spot for the CB as for the antenna idk about that I use the one in the truck already it works kind of. The owner operator side of FCC was good paying though if you have a reliable truck that's not always in the shop I made good money doing it and will probably get another truck eventually.

They have the factory wiring hookup on the dash, mounting your own antennas and using your own cable is okay, the only restriction is the shop has to do any installation (they don't want drivers unscrewing, drilling, etc. on the truck). they will absolutely do it with no muss or fuss.

I forgot also you'll have to come up with mounting bits. I believe on the Cascadia there's a mount that most guys buy that goes to the mirror mount I think in place of the bezel on the mount.

Good to know. My truck runs great for a 1.2 million mile truck, no leaks, etc. I've taken very good care of it. Turn a lot of my own wrenches. Just at the point of all the overhead expenses, repairs, etc. truck is paid off, I'm just liking having someone else handle and pay for all the stuff for a bit. I'd like to save some money and get the in-frame done if I decide to keep running it. I've been running western 11 and oil/gas fields for past 10 years and now that the kid is all grown up and on his own, Im doing me now. Moved to Kansas about 8 months ago and getting settled in. O/O for FCC is something I will give good thought. Gonna feel out the company and lanes. All you guys running for FCC seem like a great bunch, just by reading all the comments.

Understood. Well, if they have stock mounts already, I can just use those. I'll have a better idea once I get there. But thank you for all the feedback from everyone. Excited to meet everyone eventually and some friendly waves and help when needed.
