When I drove for Shaffer. One place in Massachusetts after going there a couple times. I told them never again. C&S in Westfield MA. Expect to be there 6+ hours at minimum. Also once unloaded they want you to leave ASAP. It was often my load for hometime. Which once they left me with barely anytime for that to happen

I'm on a run picked in Texas near Temple, going to Farmington, MN..... Wonder which way I'll go... wouldn't mind going back to Wisconsin and get a load from Green Bay back down.......

When did the Flying Peelot stop printing scale tickets. Since I am T-Calling this for another driver, I wanted to give them an original scale ticket instead of my chicken scratch version. Scaled at the Flying J in Kenley using the app, he said pilot no longer prints out scale tickets if you use the app unless you hit the button on the scale and tell them. Total horse-####. Guess Love's and T/A get my scale business more often. Screw Flying Pilot

it’s not the flying J that stopped doing it. It’s CAT scale… Unless you need a ticket, they don’t print them anymore. Automatically when you use the app that’s why you get them in your email

I know they don't print them automatically anymore, but you could always go in and get a copy if needed, like if you have to get a load reworked and the shipper needs a hard copy of the scale ticket. Or if you have to have an empty weight ticket before getting loaded. According to the guy at the Flying J, they won't (or can't) print out a hard copy once you pull off the scale. So if that's true, then I guess I have to guess which load might be over and need reworked so I don't use the app when I need a hard copy.

And that’s just an idiot behind the counter. That’s too stupid to understand the new policy

Sad thing is being a manager in a retail outlet. These days doesn’t mean much

Foodlion in Dunn took 4 hours and charged $230 for a straight pull off load. The positive of my day yesterday was the Smithfield plant in Tar Heel, which has a nasty reputation for being ungodly slow. When I finished my visit to Food Lion, my Smithfield load had been preloaded and was ready. But, with the delay at Food Lion, it used enough of my 14 that I wouldn't make it to Mechanicsburg without a 10, and I wouldn't even have enough hours to get around DC in the daylight, so I stopped short of Richmond. When did the Davis truckstop south of the Richmond bypass become a T/A? I haven't been in the best of moods lately, so I just stopped, ate leftovers and went to bed (ignoring a Popeye's within smelling distance). If they don't put me on anything right away once I drop this load at the PA yard, that'll be fine, because I woke up in the same foul mood I went to bed in, so I simply don't give a flying fornication either way. Part of my foul mood stems from the falloff in miles. I had 7500 by the nightmare delivery in CT on the 15th, and the way it's going, I might just top 12,000 by the end of the month. While 12,000 isn't bad miles, if you run 7500 the 1st half, you wouldn't think getting over 12k in the remaining 15 days would be tough, but it seems that they're stifling the 3rd month of the quarter so I don't have as big of a bonus check. Kinda frustrating to be bugged by recruiting new drivers messages every friggin day(sometimes multiple times a day) and they can't even let me have an above average month with a start like that. Apparently the honeymoon with the new dispatcher is over and it's back to the SOSDD as it was with the Princess.
