Autos are only as good as the programming. I loved the 12spd Paccar I had and if I had spoken to my current boss earlier we could’ve ordered one in the truck I’m driving now but all we had time to change was the color.

In the ‘22 that I had I ran it for about 3 weeks as it came from the factory then I spent about 3 hours with the computer whiz at the dealer going through everything I liked and what I wanted to change. Ended up with a blend of performance and economy as far as shift points go. And I could do whatever I wanted in manual mode without the computer overriding me.

I suspect at a 5000 truck mega carrier there’s a reason they took away manual downshifting.

 

I’m going to venture a guess it rhymes with “shmurious”.

 

if you’re going to Mars in Cleveland, they might be setting you up for a load out of Mars in Cleveland going to Victorville, California from Mars.. at least that’s a possibility… also, if it’s going to Mars in Cleveland, it’s a drop as soon as you can get it there
