first tank of gas i averaged 41 mpg at 70 mph most of the time (verified by trip odometer and basic math). My route did take me through a number of small towns. Salina to Shakopee, MN. I had enough gas in the tank to go another 100 miles. 2nd tank was a bit lower, in the high 30's. However i did stop for about 2.5 hours to nap with the car idling. 40 or better is definitely achievable. 16 gallon tank
Mine is still running on original tires. Michelin Energy Savers I believe. Not very long lasting though. I'm only a couple mm's away from hitting the wear bars with only 24k miles. I'll be putting Michelin Defenders on when these completely wear out
Non hybrid, standard 2.5l 4 cylinder. Makes somewhere in the neighborhood of 205 hp. Definitely not a powerhouse but the curb weight is only 3250 lbs. It's decently quick for what it is. It's not a noisy 4 cylinder either

I see we have a new HoneyTrailer… or at least I don’t think I e seen it before. Honey theme focused on the local bee keepers. The style is a bit different from our other wrapped trailers.
How new is it… with my memory it’s brobanly been here for a few years and I don’t remember or never saw it.
stay safeFriend Thanks this. -
Ordered a StarLink mini today…
… going to see how well it works for my setup and needs.
Can be pricey to run the unlimited package but they now have a $5/mo unlimited data but at like 3g speeds which covers half of what I need… $50/mo for 50 Gig then $1 Gig after that… I’ll run the cheap slow option to replace my stand alone WiFi hotspot. So I’ll save money there (after equipment purchase but it’s only a bit more than I paid for my old WiFi hotspot)
might switch to MintMobile too… cheaper plan on the T-Mobile network for basic needs and can always kick the StarLink into high gear if I need something outside T-Mobile coverage or data package.Knucklehead, Goody3635, Friend and 2 others Thank this. -
If the Grandpa that left these post cards in the Impala at Fremont is in here, I sent them on their way to CA and Germany today from a tiny post office in Utah.
Knucklehead, FullMetalJacket, Friend and 1 other person Thank this. -
Post Cards from Utah get left in a car in Nebraska then they return to Utah to be mailed out… someone owes you a couple First Class Stamps… lol
But seriously, good on you to help move them on to where Grandpa wanted them to go.
Might be worth a Fleetwide Friday Message informing the Grandpa out there that a some fellow Driver got them in the mail for him…Knucklehead, Friend, hope not dumb twucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
The EPUs they had on those trucks sucked, especially when the truck wouldn't idle after it failed.Friend and hope not dumb twucker Thank this.

I pass through there en route to and from CA fairly regularly. I dislike interstates enough that I take the skinny roads any time it makes sense. The fact that most of the tiny towns on the skinny roads have their post office directly on the main street/highway through town, so it kinda worked out.Friend, wulfman75 and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this.

I am in a T680 now, and my EPU has been pretty awesome so far. Same with the previous one in the last T680 I was in. At least here, if the EPU/APU craps out, we can idle with getting cussed out.Friend, Still undecided and hope not dumb twucker Thank this.
