This doesn't fit your conspiracy but in all liklihood the driver probably jammed on the brakes the instant he saw a flaming aircraft incoming triggering the event that saved the recording. Or if it was AI probably his in cab reactions triggered it.

If you see this incoming while you're driving are you gonna remain calm, steady and not stab the brakes? https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1LVNiY5CaJ/

He was parked so he might have a button to push that saves events. Or they might be watching their drivers 24-7 I suppose it is possible.

I watch this show called "Air Disasters" all the time. That same airport had another plane crash.... I cant remember when it was though.......

There is video of this.
He was chilling in the truck with phone in hand.

No jamming on brakes or reaching to press a button. -

Throwback: American Airlines Flight 191
May 25, 1979 – Chicago O’Hare
In just 31 seconds after takeoff, the U.S. witnessed its deadliest air disaster.
American Airlines Flight 191, a McDonnell Douglas DC-10 bound for Los Angeles, lost its left engine seconds after liftoff. The aircraft rolled left and crashed, killing all 273 on board and 2 people on the ground.
Investigators later found that an improper maintenance shortcut damaged the pylon that held the engine to the wing. When it failed, the engine tore away, cutting critical hydraulic and electrical lines. With no stall warning or full control, the aircraft entered a left-wing stall and impacted less than a mile from the runway.
This accident reshaped maintenance regulations, aircraft certification, and FAA oversight. It remains the deadliest single-aircraft crash in U.S. history.
273 lives lost. Countless lessons learned.
Why it’s being compared to UPS Flight 2976?
Early footage of the UPS MD-11F crash in Louisville shows fire and damage near the left engine and wing, leading many to recall the 1979 Flight 191 accident.
While both involved similar aircraft types and occurred shortly after takeoff, the actual cause of UPS 2976 is still under investigation.
Until official findings are released, the link remains visual, not confirmed.

You can pull video before it loops and records over itself. And in all fairness nobody knows what the company policy is. They could very well tell the drivers that the camera is going 24/7, it is a daycab after all.

I was 2 years old when Flight 191 crashed.
At that time my father was working for Northern Illinois Gas (predecessor to today’s Nicor)in Lombard(15 minutes from O’Hare)when he heard an explosion, felt the ground shake and saw the mushroom cloud to the northeast.
It later turned out that when Flight 191 crashed, the impact was hard enough that it generated a ground tremor that was felt for miles around.
Flight 191,had literally generated an earthquake!
That accident led to the grounding of all U.S. registered DC-10s worldwide. -
couldn’t get the whole article in at once so I had to do separate snapshots on my phone. lol201 Thanks this.
