Seatbelt ticket illinois personal vehicle

    anyone have experience with seatbelt ticket. illinois cook county. I was in my car. I have ticket but it just says pay. no way to contest. do seatbelt show up on mvr. it says non moving violation.

    It is a non moving violation in Illinois. I believe its also a primary charge, which means that you can be pulled over just for that reason.

    Yeah, but does it hit CSA points like any other violation does personal vehicle or not?

    Personally I would - get it lowered to an equipment violation? Faulty wiper blade?

    No CSA points for not wearing a seltbelt in a car. Not wearing them in a commercial vehicle is 7 CSA points.
