    Story time:

Was rolling on i10 eastbound in Florida and saw a diesel bear in the pickle park. Kept rolling. Mom calls me in a panic. I am on the phone with mom for a minute or so when I notice blues behind me riding the zipper

(Why won’t he just go around me??? Idiot, he’s trying to pull you over. Pull over dumbarse!)

Hazards on, windows down. Engine off. Diesel bear is standing in the shade under the trees 20 yards from the shoulder. He waves me over. I get out of the truck and walk over.

“I have been trying to get you to pull over for the last 5 miles. You were on the phone. What was so important that you couldn’t scan your mirrors for 5 miles?”

(Since I saw the cop in the mirror my mind was replaying everything. Was there a sign at the pickle park about inspections? Did I miss the sign?)

My mom called and told me her house was on fire.

    “Oh’

Basic level three. Cop chilled out, I was cool. Everything irie.

If you didn't get paperwork, I wouldn't mention it.

OP got a clean inspection. He legally has to turn a copy of that over to his carrier. Otherwise, I agree with everyone else in the thread about shutting the hell up about everything beyond "I got inspected, it was clean."

You must be trying to "xzmpt" yourself from employment by running your mouth like you ran by that inspection station. If it ain't on the report, it didn't happen.

MACK E-6, Feedman, 074344 and 3 others Thank this.

If you got a clean inspection with no state citation, go ahead and send it in to the company. You might get a reward. There is no need to let them in on the circumstances of the stop. In other words, what they don't know won't hurt you!
