So by your explanation the number 1 causes of tractor trailer crashes are driver error and the biggest in driver error is distracted driving (cell phones) so to say no truck should have a phone in the truck should make sense you do want to protect your family who’s driving beside them right.A cashier selling beer then to follow the driver to his truck to get the name of the company and the truck number is ridiculous and yes none of there business. We are grown adults which means you have the responsibility of doing right not some nosy cashier or should you keep your phone out of the truck since you are much more likely being in a crash with that distraction than the amount of alcohol related accidents

First piece of advice...
Sorry had to.
Try CR England, Western Express, Werner, Schneider, System Transport. The bad part is, crappy companies will treat you like crap, limit your miles and leave you sitting for days on end at truck stops. Also NOW is not a good time for the trucking industry. Freight is down, slow and a lot of places have hiring freezes.
A lot of construction companies that do side dump, end dump and dump truck hauling dirt and debris away from construction sites hire people with criminal records, as do cement truck companies. This is where I would start. Something local. Spend 4-5 years there. NO JOB HOPPING. When you get a job, stick with it. Clean yourself up. Get your composure. Get your emotions and temper under control. See a counselor on your own. Learn to deal with people. Keep your mouth shut. People at work ain't your friend. Tell them very little about yourself or your personal life. Do not speak about your criminal record or past transgressions. People will use that as ammo against you. Do not invite people from work to your house and dont hang out with them after work.
If you have faith and believe in God, you need to get with an elder at your church and get into a discipleship and a Men's Bible Study group. Get right with the Man Upstairs. Volunteer at a food shelter once a month (really humbling to help others less fortunate than yourself). Life ain't all about you. Other people need help.Gearjammin' Penguin Thanks this. -

Wow, you are bit off the wall.
The OP was drinking in public for anyone to see.
As to cell phones, many companies have a zero tolerance policy on that. One strike and you are fired, because it really is such a big problem.
You post seems to indicate that you may be part of that problem. -
Try Freymiller. There were a few people in my orientation class with some similar issues
-
I see your going of your post that I originally commented about to making assumptions like the cashier did.So how many drivers have you called in on when you see them with a phone in their hand when you passed them. I mean you are a responsible person.
-
None. I don't talk on the phone while I am driving.GoneButNotForgotten Thanks this.

I'm currently working for a company in Utah that accepts sap driver's . Do you have any info on any companies or mom and pop companies that would also accept me with 2 sap violations but I'm currently working and have begun my follow ups
-
Better stick with what you have for now. I don't know of any that will hire with 2 SAP violations.
Which company are you with in Utah? I know of ABL in Utah that hires SAP drivers.bryan21384 Thanks this.
