Good ..I'm tired of them getting special treatment over Americans just because they came here....not to mention the disrespect on the road and speeding by them...
-
Only a threat if they are in USA, illegally.
And if they are, they are a threat to everyone else sharing road with themWalk Among Us, lynchy, Puppage and 2 others Thank this. -
I read the whole article, and am not surprised at the victim mentality.
Regardless of the state you reside in, upon immigration, the onus is upon the individual to pursue the available path to legal residency.
I have no pity for California, nor its immigrant population. My capacity has been outlawed for years there, whilst allowing its citizens exemption.
All I hope for is that nationwide enforcement of the rules that I abided by, be continued - relentlessly. If this is a ‘flash in the pan’ - nothing will change. The situation requires a long , medium/high simmer.Gearjammin' Penguin, bullhaulerswife, lynchy and 20 others Thank this. -
Parallel to the legal residency, they also need to obtain the proper work permit. That is where most of these drivers are facing getting drug through the coals, they did not get and maintain proper documents to work.
A posted copy of a letter sent out regarding revoking a license clearly stated that:
The revocation date was 60 days from the date on the letter.
The reason for the revocation was expired work permit papers.
To stop the revocation bring in valid work permit paperwork within that 60 day window.
It is not a failure of the federal government, more a failure of the states by not complying with federal regulations. Unfortunately the failure of the state to properly do things in the past is having a dramatic affect on these folks in the here and now.
The primary failure in my eyes is community support groups, of witch the author of that piece is a leader, have failed asylum seekers by not ensuring they have and maintain proper paperwork.
Living in WA state, the lack of training and unsafe driving practices of non resident commercial drivers, including those that have B.C. plates, is a major concern. They have not even begun to start addressing the base safety concerns other than starting to crack down on CDL Schools.
Concerns over safety is only what brought the preexisting paperwork issues to light. The revocations have no direct ties to safety and are mostly hyped for political theater for all involved.dunchues, blairandgretchen, Feedman and 4 others Thank this. -
Haven't seen any evidence of Californias surrender. But I hope so.Diesel Dave and lynchy Thank this.

Now If they would start checking the 7-11's, and truckstop counters and get rid of all of them.
Central Valley CA, had turned into India, really discusting. I worked for New Legend, they give sp treatment to the flip flop drivers. I dropped my ttractor in Rancho yard shop on a friday, load delivered, shop said check back tueday, call monday and was told I had be termiinated for abandoning my truck at the Rancho terminal. Guess they tought I was gong to sleep in the driveres room fom 4 days...... Anyway it was just one of many things I saw while employed there. Never disrespectful to my face, just behind my back, Another one thatwas turned over to my lawyer, all I can say was it was settled in my favor.Last edited: Nov 22, 2025

From the article:
"Let’s be honest about what’s happening: California is helping execute a politically engineered purge of immigrant essential workers under the guise of “administrative review.”
That is just about all the article said too.
It is referencing the 17,000 non-domiciled CDLs in California that have expiration dates that do not match immigration papers.
It is another political BS piece devoid of any real information.blairandgretchen, TheLoadOut, Blu_Ogre and 1 other person Thank this.
