I think he is referring to Ga 20 from I-75 to Gainesville area. It used to be a good bypass of Atlanta, but alot of redlights and congestion now.
The outer interstate bypass of Atlanta( further out than I-285) is planned along Ga 20. Land has been bought for years.

Yeah 20 is one way. Sometimes 53 to 411 if going to cartersville or calhoun. Or 53 to 411 to 76 and come out in dalton. Got some hills on that one though. Also if Im going towards Knoxville and not Nashville I'll get off in dalton and get back on 75 around Cleveland to bypass Nooga.Knucklehead, Cobrawastaken and nextgentrucker Thank this.

After an interesting month I'm about to head home for Thanksgiving. Did I say interesting? I think the word I meant to use was irritating.
After Reserve, LA they absolutely could not resist the urge to send me east again. Deadheaded to Waverly, TN to pick up going to Dinwiddie, VA. From there, deadhead to Wilmington, DE for a clean tank. Because of the obnoxious amount of accidents on the way, I didn't get to my pickup in Newark Delaware until 4:52pm. As it happens, they closed at 4:30pm. Dispatch told me to go back at 6am. Went over to Elkton, MD for the night and picked up next morning. Finally made my way over to Watertown, WI for a drop and hook that took almost 2 hours due to a customer that probably wasn't prepared to receive a truck that late, but hey, that's dispatch's poor planning for you. From there, deadheaded to Janesville for a preloaded trailer going to Kansas City, KS. I'm unloading here now and heading home afterwards. I almost wanted to go ahead and use my vacation, but I think I'd rather save it so I can take off the end of December and a little bit of the beginning of January. I absolutely cannot wait. This job is draining.Lonesome, hotrod1653 and nextgentrucker Thank this. -
How long do you stay out for?

Nice man, have a nice Thanksgiving, I'm staying out for Thanksgiving and Christmas, won't go home until December 26th... I went to LA for the first time, well, it was Santa Ana, but still, it was cool, so that was my week.Cobrawastaken Thanks this.

I used to work in the wash bay in Elma, NY that you guys used. (Don't know if you still use it, it changed ownership and I no longer work there, haha)
But, never met a unhappy driver from Caledonia in my 2 years there. Guys were always super cool and respectful. Seems like they hire the good ones, glad to see a good review of them.Knucklehead, Lonesome, Cobrawastaken and 1 other person Thank this. -
R Conley? I went there when I used to work for Indian River but I don't think Caledonia uses them anymore. We use OJ's in Syracusetrapart, Lonesome and nextgentrucker Thank this.

Yep! R Conley Baby! Haha. Ran second shift there for quite awhile. They are still open, under new ownership. (Ownership has changed twice since originally changed from R. Conley) I do miss it sometimes, still very close with my boss from there.
Nothing like yanking tanks out of 6-8 ft drifts of snow. Fun times, I learned real quick that yard horses are very fun to drift.Cobrawastaken and nextgentrucker Thank this. -
It's beautiful up there, in Upstate NY!!Lonesome and Cobrawastaken Thank this.
