I think I have figured out how to stop being such a negative voice about this company. I'll just lower my expectations to the point where I expect them to #### things up, that way when they don't, it will be a pleasant surprise. Also, I need to lower my expectations on miles, only expect 8500-9000 miles, screw the bill collectors...

As you can see, my mood isn't any better than it was. When I messaged Lincoln this morning updating my dispatcher about what went down yesterday, I got a message with the same pick up number as they sent me yesterday (almost 24 hrs ago). I replied that I already had that number, but what I didn't have was a new appointment. I am getting the sinking feeling in my gut that there was a miscommunication between dispatch shifts and they haven't even tried to get a new appointment.

They got me a new appointment finally. 23:30 tonight. I told them I should get 2 layover days since it will be almost 48 hrs between appointments. When they sent me the new appointment time, they sent a different pu number, but no appointment confirmation number (again). I told the new guy that I need that other number also, because if I go thru this a 2nd time for the same load, the truck WILL be sitting empty at the SLC yard in the morning, my stuff will be in a you-store-it and my butt will be on the next flight home. I am absolutely sick of the incompetent way Lincoln does things. I don't think it's so much the lazy drivers causing us to be on the verge of losing customers, I think it's the CSR's and piss poor planners causing more problems than the drivers.

You'd think itd be really easy to keep you moving and everything since you don't go home every month.....might as well be at the house if they're jerking you around.....

Keeping me rolling will never happen. This company has gotten too big to care as long as the overall fleet wide miles are up. I am starting to see things from the 300 mile seat warming drivers point of view...why try harder, it doesn't seem to make a difference in the long run.

Kinda the same mentality on the dry side...I run hard when needed but I certainly don't do 500 miles every day but I still am on time or very early......not late either so they let me do my thing the way I want...

Pennsylvania I 70 westbound 46 mile marker… Not sure what caused it to roll over. I noticed at least one steer tire was blown out maybe both fire department paramedics were racing up behind me as I crawled past the scene
