Expunged Criminal record question

Hello, if this question has been asked before my apologizes ahead of time. This question is intended for drivers who have knowledge of this please.

I managed to get an interview with Air Gas as a hazmat driver with a little over two years experience as a A class driver for another company that pays little to nothing barely getting by until now.

I got in trouble in 2019 and was arrested charged with 3 misdemeanors and got two years probation knocked down to 11 months instead. I got my criminal record expunged in March of 2025 not sealed to be clear.

Does the background check show up for a company like this if your record is expunged? I ask because the lawyer I had said since my record is expunged I should never bring it up to potential employers but with this being a hazmat job and a company like this I'm conflicted. I want to be honest but fear if I mention it they won't even consider me. I really need this job. Anyone with knowledge on this would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for your replies.
