For the record, there was plenty of negativity at SPD before the Daseke acquisition, particularly about over dimension stuff. I can't speak about your time at Moore, but you've claimed you left Shaffer the last time only due to maintenance issues, but if you look at your posts you kvetched more about Dispatch and CS than the trucks, so your discontent was multi-faceted. After about 8 jobs in 15 years, maybe it's not them.

JBS would send emails to my old company and dispatch would send me a message that my load is ready. Saves a lot of headache woth all the phone calls “is my load ready” with all the technology today there has to be a better wayFriend, Trucker61016 and hope not dumb twucker Thank this.

They do that here too. The last JBS load I had out of Grand Island, they emailed Shaffer around 2, Shaffer messaged me right after with the trailer number and told me it was ready. I got there around an hour later and had to sit and wait for a phone call for almost 6 hrs because someone in shipping never brought out the bills. The guard shack called at 8:55 (and they had the time they got the paperwork written on the bottom of the envelope). The Tyson load out of KS last week was the same way. They told Shaffer that the load was ready on time, but I was finally told it was ready after my 5th phone call (4 hrs after they told the company it was done). Meat plants suck in general.JForce28 and hope not dumb twucker Thank this.

Always wondered if shippers complicate things to certain carriers to discourage taking their loads, and giving favor to others.?
I know of one, they rejected every Crete trailer,we don’t try anymore.Lonesome, hope not dumb twucker and 48Packard Thank this. -
Does anyone else get 2 fuel solutions on drop/hook loads? I hate that. I am a little OCD about writing down my fuel stops. But a lot of the time, when I do my load call, I get a new solution routing me a different way with different fuel stops and most of the time the 2nd one doesn't have the reefer fuel solution (that I ignore anyway). So then I have to cross out one and write down the 2nd so I don't screw up and fuel at the 1st one's stops mistakenly.
hope not dumb twucker and LowBeam Thank this. -
Yep. I think its because it recalculates based on the new reefer fuel levels. If I get a dry ld or pick up a reefer that is actually full, I dont get a 2nd fuel solution.Trucker61016 and hope not dumb twucker Thank this.

I wish they would just add the reefer once it knows the new trailers fuel level and just leave the stops the same. That load out of KS last week had me initially routed across KS to Joplin, then Springfield to Sikeston. After getting loaded, it changed it to across KS to I-35 then down to OKC and 40 to Memphis to Birmingham and 20 to GA then up 85 to Greenville. Of course, I ignored both and went my own way.Knucklehead, Trucker61016 and hope not dumb twucker Thank this.

According to my asset manager, they’re still tinkering with it, trying to iron out the issues with the matching up portion of itTrucker61016 Thanks this.
