Making the trucks even slower and adding even more cameras should solve everything!

That was a bad day. That was a week long ice nightmare. That ice storm was bad down here. San Antonio and TXDot had closed all the major highways and bridges. The reason was the de-icer’s couldn’t keep up with it. I do not know why they didn’t up there.

Did they kill a CEO, some kind of executive? Royalty? Seems like we're all worth more dead than alive.
Last W2 x number of years til retirement, another 100K for pain and suffering, seems like enough to get buy on. No need to possibly bankrupt a company that employs several thousand people.W923, JohnBoy and hope not dumb twucker Thank this. -
No doubt. I can’t say what that dudes day in the life was and why he was out there if he was in a fourwheeler but, I can say on an icy day like that I shut down and stay home. I will not play macho with that crap. The Prime truck in my opinion if I was on the jury was no guiltier than him in what happened. So to me that makes it a wash. The jury would be hung.JohnBoy, TheLoadOut and hope not dumb twucker Thank this.

Prime has close to $2 billion in revenue, so this verdict represents roughly a years profit. It hurts, but its far from catastrophic.

Top speed of 30 mph at all times!
Anything faster than that is just too dangerous!hotrod1653, TurkeyCreekJackJohnson, 4mer trucker and 3 others Thank this. -
Prime getting off cheap. They tried to get Werner on a civil lawsuit for 250 million. Wasn’t the drivers fault and wasn’t ticketed. Try to get Werner on inexperienced driver. Luckily court was in Texas ruled against the law suit. Imagine an autonomous civil lawsuit cause an idiot kills them self with a cell phone. Why once again those companies will go bankrupt that go autonomous cause the lawsuits will be legendary.
JohnBoy Thanks this. -
Most likely self insured….so still coming out of the company pocketJohnBoy Thanks this.
