    1968 White 9000 . Pulling 40 ft flatbed. It had a 250 Cummins,10 sp.
Old Coke a Cola truck. Coke wore it out then a friend of my dads wore it out again then my dad bought it and I wore it out. I was 18 years old and proud as a puppy with two peckers. Screenshot_20251224-064205.png

67 R model Mack. 673 non turbo. Like 173 horsepower with a 5+2 duplex. No a/c, no power steering, no muffler. Complete turd, but I was tickled pink hauling gravel out of the quarry.

Great pics drivers, thats when trucking meant, Cowboy Boots, Big Belt Buckle, Cowboy hat, Cowboy Boots. and a SIG hanging out the side of the mouth. Driving Cab-Overs, Ha Ha Ha, That was REAL trucking. I remember those trucks back then, there was almost everyone of them, had a fan mounted on the dash somethere. i remember one had it mounted up on the top pointing down.

The steering wheel on the cab over Pete was BIG, but you needed that with no power steering !

It was a 2005 Volvo VNL680 with like 700,000 miles on it. (This was in late 2011). CM870 ISX15 with a Meritor straight 10 which I hated.

Should have offered them 20 grand for it, in retrospect.

Not my pictures but was the truck I first drove. December of 1987 was my start date and was a great company to work for. The road tractors had air conditioning but no power steering or air ride. IMG_6416.jpeg
