Most of these Mega’s are self insured. They carry an insurance company by law that has a minimal cap on what they pay. The rest comes out of pocket.

As in the WERNER case, it will be appealed and, in a few years, it will settle for a couple of million, at most. Cooler heads will see this was the fault of all of the drivers in the accident, not just this one.

Something else to consider is that 25% of the judgement is against the plow contractor and punitive damages are capped, so Prime is 'only' looking at maybe $25 million.

What I want to know is what did Prime offer to settle for before trial?

Eh, who cares. Let them burn. ####ty predatory lease company. I worked there coming up on a decade ago. Mandatory lease-to-rent class you had to attend. Taking advantage of 21 year old kids trying to make something better of themselves by sacrificing their youth to the road. I got kicked out of the class when I started doing 3rd grade math showing how much of a scam the lease to rent #### was.

3 months out, 3 days off. I grossed 45k in 2018. I still get letters in the mail from lawyers saying I may be entitled to compensation from "New Prime Inc., DBA Prime Inc."

They're paying the same mileage I made when I quit in 2019. They also tried to extort me for 5k+ training pay even though I had a class A when I signed on. I hope they and all the other megas go under. Worthless corporate greed. The whole lot of em.

Prime is going down. Tesla is on the ropes. Toyota and Honda are in the crapper. You idiots need to limit your Your tube financial listening hours. Just go to work.

Prime most likely will go down... not sure when or how but they do the lease GAME.... And eventually that game ends... So folks flee and go their ways.. hopefully finding jobs as company drivers...or maybe leaving the industry...How long can you sell the lease??? That will determine everything...not so long is my guess....

Sucker born everyday. And we all know it is far more beneficial to financially ruin people than to have life long customers. Next quarter, Line must go up at any and all costs.
