@Cherokee65 Chinatown is right, it’s time to move on, you’ve got enough experience and a good driving record. You need to steer clear of the mega’s. You need to check out one of the good LTL outfits, you’ll have ####ty hours and runs at first but if you don’t want to live in a truck the rest of your life, after a year or two it’ll get better!

And don't sleep cold, (or hot for that matter).

 

If they are pulling that BS it’s time for a face to face with management and whoever the ######## is that is pushing this nonsense.

Or it’s time to move on. ASAP!!!!!!

 

USE THE OPTIIDLE!.

If your DTL keeps giving you static or specifically mentions any penatly (other than the hit to your fuel economy bonus), go above both them and the Ops Manager. Talk directly with your division manager. Your calls with SEM are logged.

Or just contact Robert Soto or Tammy Grunert. If you can't find their contact information in Compass, ask your DTL. If they don't immediately give it to you, ask to get transferred to the division manager.

Never be afraid to go over your DTL's head. They work for you as much as you work for them.

 

Run it

 

Tell them you are unsafe to drive because you havent been able to rest because the truck is so cold. Call the safety dept and let them know whats going on. Id be looking for a job and move on. Its clear they dont want a good driver.
