I have a 1997 kenworth t800 and the cruise control stopped working. Up above on the diagnostic reader the clutch switch is working but the brake switch isn’t which is causing it to not engage. Where is the brake sensor for the cruise control? Thanks

Not sure but the older ones had some switches in the center of the dash.
Diesel Dave Thanks this. -
Since when does using the service brakes affect the operation of the jake? They operate independent of each other.

I think he was talking about the cruise.AModelCat Thanks this.

I've got a 1995, and I think it's one of the air pressure switches on the aluminum manifolds on the floor behind the kick panels - activating the trolley valve also trips it.
Grab a test light and poke at those air switches down there whilst pressing the brake pedal and see which one lights up.
The clutch pedal should just be a button switch up on the pedal.
That's all I got. -
Apparently I need to learn to read. How did I miss that?blairandgretchen Thanks this.

I kinda giggled. I knew your brain went through a wiring circuit upgrade and spat out "JAKE" - I just didn't want to tell you to read a bit better
