What are your premiums now ?
Mine is 10k a year. 2 mil liability, another 2 mil general liability, 100k cargo and few things more. 2014 Pete, flatbed trailer. I’m up for renewal soon. And it always goes up. Northland are the underwriters. YOUR TURN -
1 driver 2 trucks (1 as spare tagged and everything)4 trailers 100k cargo (most everything in a hopper is 50k or less in value. Some things 10,000$) was 13500 last year. Renewal is April 15(is to remember)
If I add a driver it goes up $4,000/year
Great west
I had northland but it went up every year even with 2 clean inspections. -
That is pretty good!
-
Close to yours, but I have $250,000 Cargo. (Northland)
-
7k Northland.
20k truck
10k trailer
Cargo and everything else is just industry standard numbers for general freight.
I'm the only driver, have good CSA and zero driving infractions over the past 10 years. First year with Northland. They beat everyone else by a lot this year. -
200k cargo w/ reefer breakdown
120k non owned trailer
2 mil auto liability
40k truck
Was 7,800 pay In full in South Dakota. Moved to Nebraska and now its 10,800 or 12k to pay monthly. -
1 million auto
250k cargo
2 mill GL
40k trailer interchange
2 trucks (1 rated as spare)
2 trailers 1 flat one step
$17k in Florida
Great West
If I just went to one truck/trailer and dropped trailer interchange, I'd be around $12k. I'm doing a PO load tonight though that pays for the years premium and then some.
Location will typically make the largest impact is base pricing unless your loss runs or OoS rates are terrible.Oxbow Thanks this.
