hair Follicle testing is currently not recognized by the DOT as of yet. This is why you did not show up in the Clearinghouse. I doubt Schneider would provide that info as it not reconized.

 

it’s not recognized by the government but Schneider definitely added that to his DAC. That’s probably why the US Express recruiter asked about the policy violation. I doubt they’ll pursue it any further though, so he’s probably in the clear

 

I wouldn’t say anything about it . I do believe all the major companies have a good guess what the violation is being let go in orientation but I wouldn’t say it I don’t know why that’s on there is all I would say also.As my old pappy said it’s better to ask forgiveness than to ask permission.

 

Yes a Urine test will only go so far back whereas a hair follicle test can go back quite a few months if USX does not do a hair test you'll be fine a guess, what I'm not sure about is why would a drug test be on your DAC report for? Company drug test should remain private. Also why was your hair follicle test coming up positive for? And why take the test? If I was asked to do a test knowing I'd recently taken a controlled substance I would not be applying for a job that required a drug test end of story. Anyway we all were young once and made mistakes hopefully you'll be the wiser for it, stay clean and you'll be fine in the future and do what all professional truck drivers do just get high on caffeine.
