Not sure I have been thru Lincoln when they're not doing fuel lane inspections. The last 2 times I have fueled there they were busy with the truck in the other lane and I got done and high tailed it out of there (not that my truck wouldn't pass, just didn't want to waste the time)
Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

After getting that tire replaced, I managed to get my next load picked up and to the Wilmer yard by 1330. Got everything wrote up and proceeded to the laundry room. They told me when I was writing everything up that they probably wouldn't get to my truck until morning, but they would probably get my trailer serviced before everyone went home. And I was ok with that, I had a lot of time on the load (again). Sure enough, at 0230 I get the message that I got another good safety point for another trailer inspection (which means they've completed the service). At 615 in the morning the shop calls and tells me to bring my truck to the shop. At 1030, they call and say everything is done and my truck is ready. After the last month, I already had 3 new maypops, so they went ahead and put on 5 matching maypops, so now I have new tires. The only thing they neglected was my driver's side washer hose has a hole in it right at the base of the arm where it goes up thru the spring, it kinda sprays the base of the windshield outside the sweep of the wiper. Instead of replacing that, they put on new wiper blades
...close but no cigar. But, I am in Phoenix now, and I know where there is an O'Reilly's, so I'll fix it myself and turn in the receipt (with a note that the shop didn't fix what I wrote up). After I deliver at 1400 on the other side of I-10, I pick up another creamer load going to Anderson IN, 1800 miles, but the delivery window start date isn't until Tuesday. I will check with my travel agent to see if I can drop it either Sunday evening or 1st thing Monday morning. If not, then will see if I can t-call at the Indy yard. 4 1/2 days for an 1800 mile trip, but that's the way my weeks have been going, 2000-2200 one week, 3000 the next, then back to 2000-2200. There is no way I will make the bonus this quarter. I had low 8000's in January and with this being a short month, I doubt I do more than mid-8000s this month, and my 1 year anniversary is the 1st week of March, and I scheduled my hometime/vacation right after the anniversary date, so I won't have very good miles next month. It's been about the worst start to a year I have ever had in all my years. I spoke to our Ops manager before my last hometime, and he insisted that he could get me the miles I wanted this month, but...it doesn't look like that's gonna happen, so...my faith in what he says has gone right out the window. I have spoken to quite a few drivers that all say the same thing, he'll say whatever he needs to say just to keep you from leaving and to keep himself from being terminated. Most of the drivers all say they wouldn't trust him as far as they could throw him, and I am starting to see it their way.

Shaffer Blue is a nice blue. Is that a driver-facing camera in front of the passenger visor? When I was at Crete, they gave me one since I had a recent preventable. Never had a problem with it or them abusing it, though. Only time safety called was when I got the truck over the fleet speed limit. Oops, the hill didn’t even look that bad, honest! Just a quick “don’t do that” phone call lol.
Wish you the best there, truly hope it works out well for youFriend and Trucker61016 Thank this. -
I don't think it's even on and I just got the truck today it already had the camera from previous driver...but I'm not supposed to have a camera at all so I'll get them to remove it..I have no marks or hard braking events ...Friend, trucker-chase, Lonesome and 1 other person Thank this.

Based on what I see, the new norm is blue pulls red, red pulls blue. So, you're finally in the proper color truck to pull a dry box.Friend, hotrod1653, Lonesome and 3 others Thank this.

I agree. What does being a female have to do with the story?
-
Umm because not all women belong in trucking but you can't confront them because you get the attitude
..Friend Thanks this.
